And the roads were nasty slippery. But my son, Ben who has been incredibly sweet and helpful lately found this amazing new shower curtain for our main bath and while it looks a bit "rich" for me it's gorgeous, so of course we had to go get new hooks to even attempt to do it justice. I chewed him out for spending the money because it looked sooo expensive but he told me it was only 10.00...marked down from 50.00! That's my boy. He's developed a knack for finding great deals.
While I was at the store, well, thanks to all the temptation you folks have put in my path over the past few days, I just had to pick up the stuff to make both that fudge that sounds so yummy and simple and that brie cheese treat too. We'll have to give both a try. Simple and yummy. I can't imagine anything better than that can you?
Now I'm relaxing in my recliner, under my favorite blanket, a keepsake from a trip to Mexico City with the band when I was in high school and watching one of my favorite movies ever. What Dreams May Come. It's a bit intense and so sad but ends well and such an amazing story. Robin Williams was so good in it. It's about soul mates and how they are connected no matter what. Visually it's amazing beautiful and horrible. I can't believe it didn't do better than it did. If you haven't seen it, it's one you might want to check out, but be prepared to feel.
