Warning .. as always, some of the opinion expressed here are probably controversial to some... this is just my own humble opinion ... feel free to skip and move on :D
so, the West Coast Scrap group is an off shoot of the old CS e-mail board, mostly people who live in California or on the West Coast (bet the name gave that away) .. anyway, every year, Lucy G does a year in review and i decided

So i was interested to see what was happening over here today, i confess that the whole board thing is very overwhelming for me, so i tend to forget to come check it out, but i want to get back into doing the monthly challenges, so i figured beginning of the month, what a great time to do that, right!?? anyway, i stumbled on the "12 favorite" post and thought i'd play with that here... it's been

Yes, i'm a total geek! While paging through my Scrap Rap, i noticed familiar faces peeking out at me on page 5!!! How cool is THAT!!??? My cousin is getting married right in the middle of the Oct retreat this year, so I can't go (wondering if i can swing Aug, but getting RIAB for sure if I can't retreat), BUT had such a great time last year, I wish I could go every year!! And for some reason

Stickers?? really?? once in a while i use the stickers for cards... but almost never on LOs ... ok that's not entirely true, i use them all the time ... on the BACK of my LOs to keep eyelet prongs from catching and fiber and ribbon from coming off... yes, i admit it .. i'm not really a sticker person (unless it's those cute Jolee dimensional stickers, i'm a sucker for those) ... so ... lots of

Wow, i had a tough time waiting for pictures!! THEN when the pix arrived i just haven't had time to hang out at my desk playing with them.. BUT at least i got one LO done (hope to do some more tomorrow).

If you look closely, you'll see some CS people in there... you dont even need Ms. Maryann's magic mirror to see LucyG and RuthAnn and the rest of the gang! And with this LO i've officially used up this kit (ok there are like 3 pieces of paper left, but in my book that's used up) ...
kit - Birds of a Feather
journalling - typed both sides center
embellishments - flowers and flower brads randomly

The whole time i was making this LO i was singing Taylor Swift's "Enchanted to Meet You" song ... i mean i know it has nothing to do with this LO, but it's a nice song ...
i often have the problem with CS kits and not wanting to busy the LOs up with stuff just for the stuff's sake .. i mean some LOs NEED super embellishing (ok not many of mine get it, but i see places where i could add more), but

Angelina is in a Masonic organization called Job's Daughters, it's based on the story of Job (obviously, haha) and she is moving up the "line" towards becoming the Grand Poobah (yes i watched the Flintstones as a child) ... tho the title is "Honored Queen" in Job's. Anyway, the installation into their offices was in January and Angelina was crowned "Junior Princess" symbolically as the younger
