Spider Web Embellishment

Have you ever used an actual, real, natural, made by a big hairy scary spider, from outside, spider web in your paper crafting? I certainly had fun creating these layouts after my web harvesting experience the other day. It's a fun project to do with young child if you happen to have one around, Marilee thought it was really cool too.  The background cardstock of the layout above has a real spider

Bringing CS Paper Crafting Into The Party Prep

My Daughter's BDay was at the tail end of June, and boy did we have fun getting ready for the Birthday dinner we do with the family. Together Marilee and I made our own butterfly garland, and then we used the Papillon open butterfly stencil and rubber stamps to decorate the paper table cloth. Let's start talking about it by showing the simple butterfly garland we made.

As you can see we simply

The great fit of Short Sleeve Pants Paper Collection

This paper collection fits into my craft needs wonderfully. The Short Sleeve Pants Paper Collection is such fun to work with.

The fun variety of prints, printed cutapart, and coordinating colors makes it a pleasure to craft with, so, since I haven't already and was long overdue, I just had to make a couple of things. I had a couple B&W pics left over from past projects and attached them over the

Bookbinding Glue, You're Back.

Oh, how I've missed it. The feeling of dried CS® Bookbinding Glue on my fingers and on the side seam of my jeans. The wonderful substance spreading its way over an outside cover wrap with the help of my foam brush. . .

Sorry. Got a little caught up the reverie.

In case you haven't heard. . . now that the cold winter is over and Bookbinding Glue can safely be transported around the world, it's

music box

I had such a nice time at my niece's bridal shower this weekend, here is the Music Box gift I made for her (and she seemed to really like it! which of course, makes my day!) First of all I was really glad there were Retreat Music Box Kits still available in GHM, and I could used the Music Box Mechanism that plays Fur Elise since that was also available. My daughter is playing a few songs on the

Tony's Turkey

There is a spring turkey hunt here in Wisconsin. My brother-in-law is one of the most amazing outdoorsy types I've ever known. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys, well, pretty much any activity that you can do "outside". His wife sent me a digital picture of the season's successful hunt, so I decided to make a digital page and save myself the trip to Walgreen's to print the photo.

I used "The

Welcome Home, Dad!

My dad is a "snowbird". He drives from Wisconsin to Arizona in November, and drives all the way home in late April. He made the journey home with my sister Ruth and arrived safely on Saturday night. And he's back just in time for his 75th birthday!

This is my Dad and my sister, Beth, when we were visiting Dad back in February.

With these AZ connections, I have a special place in my heart for the

Come Sail Away

Ahoy Maties!!! I've really enjoyed creating this Month's Come Sail Away Club Stamp project - the Ship's Log String Art book (and hope you like it too). I found that brads work well for wrapping the waxed linen thread around to create the string art sailboat on the front of this handmade mini ablum. With the included template (for hole piercing & stringing) it's smooth sailin'  After wrapping the

Wowzers, this month's Come Sail Away collection has been amazingly popular.  So much so that the Club Scrap Unmounted stamps sold out in the first half of the month. I mean, is it any wonder when you check out the cards Tricia created with them?

Now I know a few of you were itchin' to get your hands on these, so when Beth brought me the short stack she found, I was VERY excited!
