Mega Meet Here I Come

Next week I'm headed to the Great Lakes Mega Meet in Novi, Mi. This will be my first time at the convention as I have done CKC seaveral times. I am hoping it's really good because soon I will be living less than an hour from the location the convention is held in. This could be a good thing, or might be a bad thing since I'm crazy about crafting in general even though scrapbooking and card

Come Sail Away - CARD


Instructions:
1. Tear a piece of cardstock (wider than the cardstock you are working with) to give rough edge to it.  Hold this 'torn edge' piece across the background cardstock and using a sponge, ink sponge and rub off of torn piece onto the background lightly.  Repeat process, moving torn paper around to create 'clouds' onto the background.

Basket of Flowers

Basket of Flowers - Hot Air Balloon Card


 Quick card -
1.  Collage stamp 'Destination' stamp on background in pink ink.
2.  Stamp "hot air balloon" in blue on pink cardstock and cut out.  Adhere to card back.
3.  Cut out a rectangular shape with bubble edged scissors, stamp an image onto piece, creating a 'basket' for the hot air ballon.  Use popdots on the top edge of the basket.

Embossed Flower Embellishments



1.  Rubberstamp images in embossing ink on white cardstock.  Emboss images with white embossing powder.
2.  Using sponges, ink over images with blue and green inks.  If ink stays on embossed images, then just wipe of the ink, so that the white 'pops'.
3.  Punch out flowers with flower punch.  Fold flower petals to give them more of a 3D look and adhere to
